I obtained my Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Maryland, College Park in 2019. My research adviser is Prof. Michelle L. Mazurek.
My research focuses on human factors in security and privacy, which combines seucrity, privacy and human-computer interaction. I am interested in understanding users’ security or privacy perceptions and behaviors, and designing or improving systems to be secure as well as usable.
I received my M.S. degree in ECE at UMD in May 2015. Before attending UMD, I obtained my B.S. degree in ECE at Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing, China in June 2012.
Update: I have left UMD, and now work at Google LLC as a software engineer. I will still regularly update this website for academic interests. Drop me a line if anything here interests you.
